Training and Certification

In order to provide our customers with the knowledge and skill sets required for sophisticated networking, product installation and sales strategies, IP3 offers multiple levels of training and certification tracks.

TrainingTo become IP3 certified, you must meet the minimum requirements of the individual Program for each applicable Certification Track which includes achieving passing scores on all required examinations.

When stated requirements are met, you will receive a certificate from IP3 documenting your accomplishment. Certificates are not transferable and are valid only for the specific individual who has met the requirements of the applicable program.

Current On-Line Training:

Technical Training for NetAccess (SE)

Designed for experienced sales engineers with a strong networking background who have working knowledge of network design, security, routing and switching. This track is suited for those responsible for selling the technical capabilities of the IP3 solution.

  • Prerequisites - Pass on-line IP3 Network Technologies Quiz, MCSE and CCNA (or equivalent experience) and minimum 1 year experience selling, installing or troubleshooting LANs, routers, switches and network appliances
  • Modules Required - 1) Network Primer (1 hour) and 2) Technical Training (1.5 hours)
  • Training Media - Online (March 2006)
  • Passing Grade - 80%
  • Cost per Module - $350.00; Free for 1st employee per Silver Partner; for 1st 2 employees per Gold Partner; and 1st 3 employees per Platinum Partner
  • Recertification - Required every two (2) years; $99.00; no charge for Platinum Partner

Installation Training for NetAccess

Designed for installation professionals who will be deploying IP3 solutions in the field.

  • Prerequisites - Pass on-line IP3 Network Technologies Quiz, MCSE and CCNA (or equivalent experience) and minimum 1 year experience installing LANs, routers, switches and network appliances, plus the successful completion of three (3) NetAcess installations
  • Modules Required - 1) Network Primer (1 hour) and 2) Technical Training (1.5 hours) and 3) Technical Support Training (1.5 hours)
  • Training Media - Online (March 2006)
  • Passing Grade - 80%
  • Cost per Module - $500; Free for 1st employee per Silver Partner; for 1st 2 employees per Gold Partner; and 1st 3 employees per Platinum Partner
  • Recertification - Required every two (2) years; $99.00; no charge for Platinum Partner

Sales Training for Net Access

Designed for sales professionals.

  • Prerequisites - Pass on-line IP3 Network Technologies Quiz, familiarity with Visitor Based Networks
  • Modules Required - 1) Network Primer (1 hour) and 2) Sales Training (1 hour) and Recommended 3) Technical Training (1.5 hours)
  • Training Media - Online (TBA)
  • Passing Grade - 80%
  • Cost per Module - $250; Free for 1st 2 employees per Silver partner; 1st 4 employees per Gold Partner; 1st 6 employees per Platinum Partner
  • Recertification - Not required

Technical Support Training for NetAccess (TAC)

Designed for Tier I and II support professionals with hands-on experience troubleshooting network and integration issues. This track is suited for TAC staff and Customer Care centers supporting customers with IP3 products.

  • Prerequisites - Pass on-line IP3 Network Technologies Quiz, MCSE, CCNA and minimum 1 year experience troubleshooting LAN, router, switches and network appliance issues
  • Modules Required - 1) Network Primer (1 hour) and 2) Technical Training (1.5 hours) and 3) Technical Support Training (1.5 hours)

  • Passing Grade - 80%

IP3 offers custom training for Authorized Partners.

  • $1,000 per day, including all course materials, Monday - Friday
